On the traces of Andrej Platonov

We, three auditors, were fascinated by the writings of the Soviet writer Andrej Platonov – by his lucid exactness of his description of bureaucratic processes. Our plan was and is to travel to the original places of the Platonov’s Central Asian novels in September 2025. Our first meeting will be a hybrid event – you might come in person or take part via ZOOM. Your encounter does not oblige you to anything. The purpose of the meeting is to make up our mind what is possible and which route is feasable. We are very lucky that the German translator of Platonov will attend the meeting and possibly travel to gether with the group.
