Text: This is the island of Gorée, once the biggest slave trading hub of the world. Gorée is the location of our conference “Quantifiaction and Power” in which we will explore the colonial past of our profession. The conference is arranged jointly by EMPACTA e.V., CENTR MARC BLOCH, the Audit Chamber of Senegal ONECCA and the Universitè Cheikh Anta Diop. We invite you to submit your paper! Selected authors will be invited – cost free. Particularities will be explained at this kick-off meeting!
